Marangu Route are Known as the “Coca-Cola Route,” the Marangu Route is the oldest and most established route on Mount Kilimanjaro. It is the only route that offers hut accommodation instead of camping, making it more comfortable for many climbers. The trail approaches the mountain from the southeastern side and passes through beautiful rainforest, heath, moorland, and alpine desert zones before reaching Uhuru Peak (5,895m).

The Marangu Route is considered the easiest route in terms of walking conditions, but the short acclimatization time makes summit success more challenging compared to longer routes. It is ideal for climbers who prefer comfort huts and a shorter itinerary.
